MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND THE CONNECTION WITH MEDITATION
Meditation is very popular in today s world and it helps with a lot of conditions including those known as mental health problems. In my personal opinion meditation can help to heal most if not all of the mental health issues with the aid of some more healing techniques. Teachers and mental health workers use many systems to diminish and eliminate mental health problems but meditation is and should be the foundation of all healing. In order to understand the connection between meditation and mental health problems it is important to have a useful knowledge about them.
MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND HOW TO HEAL THEM
Before I start my discussion, I want to point this out - mental health definition is: mental, emotional, psychological and energetic well-being. It is a complex chain of human behaviour. This behaviour is constantly changing in most cases in a subtle way. Sometimes, there are dramatic shifts of behaviour related to outside events and situations - leading to strong negative thoughts, feelings and emotions and an individual will experience mental health problems.
Now, let me tell you what are mental health problems and then I will answer the second part of the question. For this approach, I will not take the perspective of a psychologist. I will look at the bigger picture. I will look at it as a psychic reader or healer; it is a different perspective. A perspective that some people can argue about but in my humble opinion, it is a more accurate perspective.
As I explained in my article aboutthe chakras and the auras we have an aura and chakra system. These "organs" as I call them are the main factor causing the appearance of mental health problems. Why? First of all we are beings created of invisible energy. The human aura and the chakras are energy. This energy contains our behavioural patterns in invisible form. This energy is affected by our inner states and the outside world - people and situations.
So, we just came to a conclusion - we are energy. We are affected by these types of energy:
Positive, neutral and negative. 1. Positive energy flows as movements or higher frequencies. Energetic positive waves fill the aura and the chakras. 2. Neutral energy flows like water not attaching to anything. 3. Negative energy moves and stops. As a result blockages in the aura and the chakras will occur.
So, the third type of energy will create mental health problem because of the negativity involved. How does this negativity occur? It happens, because of how an individual accepts and reacts to situations and people that he/she meets in everyday life. The answer for the first part of the question: what are mental health problems can be summarized like this: Blockages in our energy - the aura and the chakras create mental health problems.
How to heal mental health problems?
In my view, mental health problems can be healed. The main reason - why I am stating this will be explained to you. The blockages in our energy - the aura and the chakras called mental issues take a particular form: a sub- personality in psychology. This energy form influences an individual and causes mental and emotional issues in his/her inner world. The brain and the nervous system will absorb the negative energy and will create havoc in the life of that individual. In order to heal any mental health problem - an individual must transform the energy from negative to positive or neutral. It is not simple but it can be done with practice and a strong desire for the problem to be healed.
THE SECRET OF MEDITATION "Behind The Scenes"
Meditation comes from unknown ancient sources and has impacted our world in a very positive way and the people in it. Meditation is a method to connect with our spirit called higher self. People talk about different benefits of meditation but what they forget sometimes is why we get these benefits. What is happening "behind the scenes", so to speak? If we want to get an answer to this question we have to start with the basics. As I mentioned earlier, we are created in a physical form by an energy entity called spirit or higher self. Many traditions speak about it and why we are here on planet earth. I will share with you the whole story which is told in one form or another around the world. Please, understand that - what I am about to tell you, is not necessarily the full truth. It reveals the secrets of why meditation is important in our life.
Once upon a time there was an eternal being which is called God or the universe by humans. This eternal being has cloned itself billions of times or even more. In this way small parts of this eternal being have been created. They have lived in different dimensions - some physical, some not. Those small parts were - what we call now – aliens, and they had an inner spark inside themselves constantly learning and experiencing new things. This inner spark is called a soul. At some point the human race was created by this eternal entity. Maybe with the help of other alien races. The main idea of our human existence and probably of all alien races is to learn lessons in many lifetimes in order to gain access to the eternal being called god or the universe. During that time humans meet with different life scenarios and diverse life dramas. In this way, humans will learn that ultimately there is only love and compassion for themselves and for other human beings. It cannot be done in a lifetime or 3-5 or more lifetimes. You can see it - how our life sometimes works, how we do not work with love but with other patterns of behavior. It can be done, probably in many lifetimes. This is why the small part called spirit created by God or the eternal being if you remember, leads the soul incarnated in a physical body to reincarnate again and again. So, translated into easy words the human soul is the memory of our previous lives on earth and in other space-time dimensions. The soul is "embedded" in the physical body through important points called chakras or energy disks that are pivotal for our spiritual development. The soul is called the aura or a field of energy frequencies. Through meditation and persistent practice, we can access some of these important points; particularly the heart chakra and the crown chakra. In doing so we gain knowledge and skills of how to manage our life and to merge with the spiritual realm of our spirit and consequently with the eternal being.
Now, I will remind you of the first part of this article "what is happening behind the scenes of meditation practice"? What is the secret of meditation? When we meditate, we open a channel to our spirit and a powerful information flow comes through the soul called also the subconscious mind. Through the soul - our body and mind gain different benefits. Gradually, we understand that we are pure awareness - aware of being aware called consciousness. This is how we operate. Again, this is not the whole story, it cannot be but is a good starting point for beginners and for those already on the meditation path
The connection is pretty simple. The spirit through constant meditation practice will help to heal mental health problems. Sometimes fast but in most cases slowly but surely.
